Privacy policy

The short version: your files never leave your device, and we collect as little about you as it is possible to collect.

Effective October 2, 2026

1. Who we are

This policy covers the NoUploadPDF website and its tools. NoUploadPDF is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at nouploadpdf@gmail.com.

2. Your files

Your files never leave your device. Every tool processes your documents on your own device, inside your browser. The files you open, their names, their contents and anything taken from them, including passwords you type into Protect PDF or Unlock PDF, are never sent to us or to anyone else. Your files are held in your device's memory while the tab is open and released when you close it.

3. What we do not collect

  • No accounts, sign-ins or registration of any kind.
  • No analytics, tracking pixels or measurement of our own. Section 7 explains what Google collects where advertising appears.
  • No payment information, because the service is free.
  • No error reports. If a tool fails, the message stays on your screen.

4. What is processed when you visit

NoUploadPDF is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, Cloudflare processes the technical information that every visit to every website involves: your IP address, the address of the page requested, the time, and the type of browser and device you use. This is processing of your request for a page, never of your files, which are never requested from anywhere.

We do not switch on request logging for this site, and we do not receive or keep these details ourselves. Cloudflare handles them as described in its privacy policy.

5. If you email us

If you write to nouploadpdf@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to deal with what you raised. We keep correspondence only as long as it is needed for that, and we never use it for marketing or share it with anyone. Our email is provided by Google, which processes messages as described in its privacy policy.

6. What is stored in your browser

After your first visit, your browser keeps a copy of the site's own pages and tools, so that it opens quickly and works offline. That copy never contains your files or anything about you. The site itself sets no cookies. Advertising may set cookies on the pages where it appears, as explained in section 7 and on the cookies page. The cookies and storage page lists everything, and you can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

7. Advertising

Advertising on NoUploadPDF is supplied by Google, and it is what pays for the hosting that keeps every tool free.

Advertising has no access to your files. Where advertising appears, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and to measure them, and may use information about your visits to this and other websites to personalize ads where the law allows. Where consent is required, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked before any of this happens, and you can change your choice at any time. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com, and manage ad personalization at My Ad Center.

8. Data processing agreements

Services that process their customers' files on their own servers often publish a data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses for international transfers. NoUploadPDF does not publish either, because it never receives, stores or processes the contents of your files: there is no customer data on our side for such an agreement to govern.

9. International transfers

Cloudflare operates a global network, so a request for a page may be handled in a country other than your own. Cloudflare describes the safeguards it uses for international transfers, including its participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in its privacy policy. Google, which provides our email, describes its own safeguards in its privacy policy.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information, including under the GDPR in the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, Brazil's LGPD and Canada's PIPEDA. These include the right to know what information is held about you, to access it, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

In practice, the only personal information we hold is correspondence you send us. To exercise any right, email nouploadpdf@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in California law, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, such as a supervisory authority in the EEA, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, Brazil's ANPD or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

11. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because the tools collect nothing, a child using them shares nothing with us; if a child has emailed us, a parent or guardian can ask us to delete the message.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top of the page. Significant changes, such as the introduction of advertising, will be made here before they take effect.

13. Contact
